I've been using an old Makita skilsaw to put a straight edge on very rough boards, and notice just about all the sawdust comes out the slot designed for that purpose in the guard. Now if I had a fitting that could be attached to the saw so I could hook up my vacuum. Already use my belt sander and ros that way. Anybody figured out the solution to this problem? Looked at the festool saw, amazing what they can get for a skilsaw fitted for dust collection.

Jim,

Here are two videos you'll find helpful, both feature Dino from Eurekazone, the guys that make the EZ Smart Guide system.

In this one he shows you how to install a dust shield on a skilsaw.

Jim, check down in the Eurekazone forum. Look at their website, also look at the Bosch dust chute (easiest to obtain), the Ryobi dust chute, and the Worx dust chute.
