Daniel -

Looks like good set ups for both the contractors saw and the CMS. Lots of drawers (with latches to hold them shut) and out feed support.

Nice!

Any problem with the table rocking because of the springy tires?

Hopefully you have a good set of chocks in one of those drawers to keep it still while you are working.

Yes, there is a little rocking when ripping boards about 8 feet or longer. Small boards, under 8 feet, the saw doesn't even know they are on it.

The drawers hold a "lot of stuff" and the weight of the table is quite a bit. It takes some inertia to get it moving in order to get it up over the two ridges that form the base for the garage door from the gravel driveway.

That's the main reason for using the biggest rubber casters that I could find = large casters easier rolling.

Also Lee, the casters under the "saw part" are the stationary ones and are 90 degress to the plane of pushing the wood through the saw.
With 30 lbs. of air in the tires they are still mushy - but am afraid of putting more air in them - they are rated at 300 lbs for 30 lbs of air.

So you get the cabinet where you want it and kick one swivel tire at 45 degrees and the other the opposite and get to work. Yes, KICK! they don't like to swivel with all that weight.

To answer directly - no chocks needed, gravel drive way.
