I put the Carter 2300 Guides on my Delta 28-203 and think I'm having trouble setting them up. How tight should the Allen bolts be that secure the bearings? Does anyone have any tips or tricks they use in adjusting the bearings to the correct position? The instructions say that the clearance should be about the thickness of a piece of paper (0.003"), but when I get everything into position, and then start to tighten the Allen bolts, the bearings shift changing the clearance significantly. Is it possible that my bolts are bent? When they specify 0.003", I get the impression that I need to be pretty darned accurate, but the system doesn't seem to accommodate that level of accuracy. Am I thinking too hard? (A rhetorical question:D)
