I have some sign to make for a museum and I don't know how they're made.

They're 3/4" thick and the letters look like they're printed directly in the material and there's a clear coat with a slight texture?

Can you see the back? Also, does the edge look like one solid piece or perhaps a lamination? Could be sublimation or screenprinting on green 3/4" acrylic or PVC with a textured clear overlaminate.

I'd probably spray green onto the back the back of textured clear polycarbonate, engrave out the letters in reverse on the back side, then spray white and laminate onto 3/4" acrylic then paint the edges the same green.

Looks like one solid piece but I guess that's the idea.

Possible Corian? Laser or Rotary engraved with Corian color glue filler.

Ask the maintenance guys if they have any scrap signs in the basement? Worth a try.

I would bet its reverse print or vinyl on non glare acrylic with a back paint.

You should be able to see that if so, the letters would be way back from the surface.
