Penn state had a motor and blower from their dc2v2 (The 1 1/2 hp dust collector which is now $259 plus $60 shipping) and they let me have it for $165 plus $37 shipping.

I have the canister filter and collection bag holder from my jet 1100 so all I needed was the motor and a fan.

I was looking at their 2hp but this saved me $137 off of that and $117 off of the 1 1/2 hp model.

whoever suggested penn state. Thanks a bunch. I'm very happy.

yes it was over the phone but I didn't haggle the price down. I just pushed the issue of a scratch and dent I could get at a discount. I post a pick when it comes in.
