Hello all, Is Bloodwood one of those woods that should be wiped down with acetone before gluing because of it being an oily wood?

I have used bloodwood in several segmented bowls with no special preperation for gluing the segments and layers together. I just used tightbond like any other glue joint and it seems to work fine.

I have used it for a block plane with no gluing problems, but a Krenov style plane has a lot of gluing surface too.
