This week I picked up a Felder AD741 16" JP Combo. It is a used machine and has the Digi Drive along with the mortising attachment. It is a three phase machine so while it is home safely, it is awaiting me to connect my VFD to run it.

Before I took delivery of that I found an Old (1939/1940) Delta DP 600 Drill press on CL . I took the last week to sand-blast, clean every bolt, add new bearings and repaint it. Needless to say, my Jet 17" DP is now for sale. Note the Production table and foot-feed!

I wouldn't have that Felder AD741, the green would just not go with my shop decor.....:D That is a great looking machine

WATCH OUT FOR THE FOOT PEDAL on the drill press. The handles can knock your teeth out when you release it too quickly. We had an old foot pedal equipped Delta, with 2 handles. They could really whack you.

Like everyone else, I really dig that drill press.
Hope to have one like that someday.

Congrats on the new iron. Nice combination of old and new getting along just fine. I have a 1970's era Rockwell DP and painted it the same color during a restoration. You are going to love the Felder combo machine, especially the mortiser.
