Pete - sure is some pretty wood! Nice form, lid and finish! Next time you post photos - please have them around 800x600 pixel size as the larger size will allow all of us to appreciate the fine work you do!

Steve,
do not want to hijack this post but what do you do if your camera will not shoot an image at 600 by 800.I have some pix of my turnings that I shot at 3200+ by 2400+,can they not be posted. The low setting is 1600 by 1200 on my camera,I believe.

Pete,
the elm jar looks great,I like the shape with the lid and finial.

Pete,
A very nice jar, great choice of wood. And I like that finial.
The form is pleasing to my eye.

Greg,
I recommend you download one of the free photo manipulating programs that let you resize the image generated by your camera. I use Irfanview and it is relatively easy to use.

I use this online image resizing site

That is a great looking jar - what tools do you use to hollow it?
thanks
