Bill - I have seen a few of your posts but haven't officially said Hi!
Welcome to the Creek! Nice turnings! What is the wood, sizes and finishes? Did a real nice job on the undercut rim on the bowl! That's usually a fairly hard thing to do - especially when you are just starting out!

The bowl is a cut from an 8/4 stock of Brazilian Cherry. It's about 1 3/4 inches hight with a diameter of about 5 1/2 inches it's 1/8 thick all around. I just used boiled linseed oil for the finlsh.

The goblet is about 8 inches tall. It's from a piece of firewood. I found a nice piece that had been split without the pit. It's Red Oak, I think.

The inside of the goblet looks like it got some cool grain. Nicely done on both.
