View Full Version : Question - Routing solid drawer fronts?

I'm not sure how I spaced out the fact that I didn't need to do a full blown stile and rail setup for the small drawer fronts for the wife's desk.

Question is what is a the prefered way to get a nice profile onto the solid pieces for this type of work? Hopefully it doesn't mean another trip for more router bits!

Anyone have pics of a profile / setup example?

Not really sure what your trying to accomplish here....but if your talking about a 6" high drawer front there are 2 methods I use.
1) Stiles & rails, yup just like your doors.
2) Solid Front with a detailed edge.

Travis,
Round overs work well for drawer fronts but they do not go with all styles. To get good advise here, you need to post a pic of the rest of it.
