I'm looking for some steel shop wall cabinets and have found them to be quite expensive ($200-300 or more).

These ones at Grizzly look good, but still a little pricey for me.

Anybody else have these or some others that they recommend?

How many do you want? Do you want 'em new?

I picked up one from a friend for free and I see 'em on craigslist from time to time. I keep my flammables in it. I'd rather not keep those in a wood cabinet, even if the risk is low. I also like the metal one because it has a tab to put a lock through if i needed to. Mine was free, but i see 'em around here go for 30-50 bucks once in awhile. Ya gotta be patient, tho. They're scarce as hens teeth.

Jason: I ran across a metal cabinet that I bought for twenty bucks from a friend at work. I have perched it atop a wooden chest of drawers, so that it did not take up any more floor space. For the most part, I like it; but it is not a good place to store handplanes. I quickly noticed I have some corrosion problems that I never had before. So if I were you, I would be careful about what I store in it!

I found a couple of these at Sears on sale and use them for my paint supplies. They are well made.
