Have not posted in a while, well had to laser Lincoln's portrait on a piece of temp glass for a gun cupboard, turned out not to bad. I whitened with acrylic white after etching. Comments good or bad are welcome......:)

Very nice. I've never been able to get that much detail out of glass.

Good work. Did you paint the glass black or was it black and you engraved the image and then paint filled it.
Welcome aboard, Canadian.

Thanks guys for the kind words, the glass is clear 5mil temp, sitting on our black workbench. I ran the image through Photograv and then into Corel. My machine is the Accuris power sharp 30 W . I has taken many attempts with glass to get it close. Not all glass is equal and results can vary.

Excellent!!

Did you paint with acrylic and wipe immediately or let it dry for a while?

Hi George,
Gave it a couple of minutes then wipe clean, it makes all the difference.

Very good work. If you're able show what it looks like in the gun cupboard, I'd like to see it.
