I was going through some old chisels I have and came accross 2 with marks I can't identify, so I summons the vast knowledge here at the creek.

The first comes with a mark that kinda looks like an old iron cross, sort thing with the word "Extra" clearly next to it.

The second has a mark that looks alot like an arc, yes as in Noah, with just the size next to it, either 8 m/m or 12 m/m.

I have included a drawing of my attempt to drow something that looks like the mark(s).

TIA for whatever you can tell me about this chisels, the history of an old tool is a large part of the attraction associated with it.

Thanks Again,

probably a Butcher. Just after WWI. Not positive though. His chisels are top notch, and I have a couple mortising ones. He's a German tool maker who moved to the U.K. after the first world war and changed his Iron Cross slightly in the process. It used to be profound with his name below it prior to WWI.
