Fence less than perfect.

In a side by side comparison I picked the Jet cabinet saw over the Delta or the PM. Just did, some years back now. Think the table finish and the fence swayed me.

Anyway - things were getting to be a little less than perfect. And the end all solution was to CLEAN the dang fence. Obviously neglected for awhile it had some build up.

So take a minute, if you haven't already, and take a look at that fence.

An added note: I do buzz green lumber through once in awhile. And I'm sure this has been the biggest factor.

I have a Mule fence on my Jet TS and I keep it waxed just like the table. I have never had any build up on it but saw dust on the top.

What was the build up from ?
