Hello All,
Just in order to present myself, new on the Creek and from
Belgium.
Since you love pictures, with an old work, turned in the nineties.
from Magnolia tree H57 X 112 cm square (my lathe is only a
Rockwell 11/14)

Don't worry about the language, it is better than some and light years better than my Dutch or French.

very nice, your Belgian magnolia seems to have a tighter grain than the southern magnolia here in virginia

Quite a unique piece. Welcome-always interested in woods and turnings from different places. English is perfect as far as I can tell. Hope you show us a lot more pictures.

Nothing wrong with your English or your turning.
Nice peice with nice grain. Can be a tricky thing to turn being square.

Although I think you meant to state the dimensions in mm not cm.
57cm x 112 cm is approx 22-1/2"H x 44" square!

Hi Dave
Not so tricky job, I've glued sacrificial wood around to not cut
always air and wood . And then after completing the job, I sawn
this sacrificial an sand the edge.
