I was in Rockler today and they have 1 micron replacement bags on sale for $30 each for my 1 1/2HP Delta. It's a top bag only (20" by 72"high) It seemed like a great deal, so I got one, along with 2 plastic bags to replace the bottom bag. The plastic bags were not such a great deal ($19 for 2). Got home to see that I had allowed the old bottom bag to overfill which made it a PITA to empty. Hopefully the new clear bags will help me avoid that. It's kind of neat in use, because when you run the DC, the top bag doesn't inflate anymore. I had heard that, but didn't really believe it until I saw it.

Now my question. Does anybody know of a more reasonable source of 20" wide clear bags then $9 each?

Thanks

Bob

Bob,

Why don't you just use a cheap garbage bag inside your old cloth bag. the cloth bag keeps the cheapo bag from blowing out. It worked fine for me until I broke down and bought a cyclone.

I bought the kit like you have.

It should be here today or monday. I can't wait to get started on it. I'm gonna try something different for a blower. I'll have to post pics when done.

You guys would think I'm crazy if I told you my plan. (I must be the cheapest man alive)

I have the bad habit of not checking it very often, and letting it overflow. I figure with the clear bags there will be no excuse.
