Spring has to be getting close, you can see the deer.

Our snow was getting nearly this deep before the thaw last week.

Bonnie, NO more snow please! We've had enough but are expecting 4-8 inches tomorrow night and into Wednesday. We finally had a thawing period that got rid of most of the snow. It has been the second long winter in a row.

Tired of white--I'll even take brown.

I had the Motorcycle out last weekend, we had a couple of days of rain which washed the salt away so I took advantage of it.

The air temp was -7, the sky sunny, so we rode about 30Km round trip for a coffee.

Boy it felt nice to back on two wheels, now it's snowing again..........Rod.

Ah, the Japanese Magnolia has bloomed and starting to get leaves. The peach blooms are starting to come out, the snowball bush is starting, the azaleas are blooming, and all we are waiting for is the pecan to start putting out leaves.

It’s supposed to be 60 here this weekend but we are getting the wind – always a sure sign that spring is coming.

Pic came through for me. I guess spring IS coming when you can start to see the heads of the deer :)

In Connecticut we have about 1-3 inches of snow to get through tonight, and either snow showers or a major storm on the weekend, Accuweather isn't sure how that will play out yet though.

Hello from the UP (Upper Peninsula) of MI. I think we have a bit of winter left up here. Just blew the drive out from a two day blizzard. The UP 200 and Midnight Run sled dog races started last night in Marquette. They have great conditions for the dogs - lots of snow and cold temps. Mushers come from all over and some of them use these races as warm-ups for the Iditarod. The events are good for our economy, but they remind me that spring is a ways off for us.
