Ignore It???...I love it! Your son in the shop with you...priceless. My adult sons started out watching dad in the shop. Now, they come over once or twice a week to make their own furniture.

Make sure that he doesn't stand up too fast, that jointer isn't going to move when his head hits it.

Nice jointer, I bought the same one a few months back and really like it. You may have already realized how top/back heavy it is. I caught mine twice so far before it toppled. Good luck with it
