I was about to buy the Grizz 0691, upgrading from a Craftsman contractor saw and while looking at Craigslist I ran across this,,,,,,,,

As you see I picked up a Jet 3 hp saw with router lift in table, with 3 hp Bouch router. It also had a Jet Tenon jig, 5 Forrest Blades, Sysmatic Dado set, freud blade and a few others. Also came with Incra 2000, another miter bar, and wide outfeed lift up roller table.

The Grizz was 1500 after shipping and this was 1300.

I believe I made out quite well.

It had to be a great deal for my wife to let my take her and my two kids ( 2 yrs and 2 months old) to Houston about 1 hr and 45 minutes away to get it on Valentines day. It was a beast to get on the trailer. The man that I got it from had one sweet shop, he can no longer do it.

Wow - looks like you did good!

(but you've got to loose those Christmas colors - or just need some fresh red paint on that floor:D).

Good luck with the new saw!

I didn't even notice that the saw matched my horrible floor. The guy I got it from had everything painted to match in his shop. Like I said before the man I got it from had a great shop, everything was painted to match but was nicely done except for the size.

I have that saw, and love it. But all of the rest--wow!! You did great! You won't regret it.

Now get yourself a splitter and blade guard and get to work!

All top-notch stuff. Normally I don't count the extras as much towards the package. But a nice router, a lift, a bunch of Forrest blades, that stuff really sweetens this deal.

Congrats. That was a steal. The accessories alone probably cost $1300

Awesome deal! I saw that on craigslist. Didn't realize it came with all those accessories. What a deal!

You got a really Decent Deal! Especially since it was in your *neighborhood*, with NO shipping involved. All the extras cinched it!

A new coat of Jet *off white* might be in Order to make everything look more *professional*! Those *types* who color-coordinate every tool in the shop BURN ME! I have had $40 quarts of *Old Delta Gray* enamel mixed at an auto paint shop, so I could match exactly!

Ahem...those who cannot congratulate a man on his *gloat* are those who read CL about 1130pm at night! LOL

Great find. Let me advise you that I have that same Incra miter gauge. It is so slippery,I finally had to screw a piece of wood onto it. I just got some nuts that fit the T slots, sawed the screws to length, and put them in without drilling holes in the new miter gauge. That thing would slip no matter how hard I tried to hold the wood tight. If you can't quite make a square cut,it's the miter gauge slipping.

Yesterday I spent so time tuning everything, (the fence was way off), and found the the incra miter gauge was off, it was set a couple teeth of of 0 degrees, so I put it on 0. It was off quite a bit when I did, so put my square up there, and at 90 degrees it is 1 1/2 teeth off 0. To get the 1/2 tooth I just tightened the nut down when it was 90. I would like to zero this out so that 0 is 0. Any tips on this jig? Sorry for the ignorance.

Thanks for all the congrats.....
