I bought my blades from this site. You might look around Mike's site for some information. Also, just do a google search for some other scroll sawing sites. A sot of the scroll saw plans and books I have usually have a blade recommendations.http://www.mikesworkshop.com/blades.htm

I have purchased from Mike and both vendors listed below. All three are excellent sources.

James,
The type of blade you use has less to do with the size of wood, rather the purpose of the cut. IE general cuts, fretwork, intarsia, compound shapes, marquetry.

What is your project?

+1 on Mikesworkshop. If you call him, he will answer your questions, recommend a blade and send you a free sample blade to try before you commit to buying anything. Excellent prices and high quality blades. Everyone in our Scroll Saw club orders blades through Mike.
