Well I got my new Tormek T7 yesterday. Man does that thing sharpen. Needless to say I had to get the band aids out:D

Sorry to hear of your injury - but I guess that means your new Tormex works!

When I bought my Tormek, Jeff Farris included a "set up kit". Included were a bunch of band aids. Very handy! I'm not going to admit how many of those band aids I've used.:o I will say I've quit testing the edge with my thumb (before the original supply of band aids ran out)!:)

I have had my Tormek now about a year. Yep Jeff included about 4 bandaids and yes I needed on after working the skew over. I now just use my wolverine for changing shapes on my tools and then they go to the Tormek.

I hear ya! Sharpening a set of 12 inch planer blades turned my fingers into a bloody mess. Next time I will put the band aids on first.
