This is from what I've always known as Chinese Elm. 8" x 4", with Danish Oil and Lacquer finish.

Curt, Great shape and drop in lid! The wood is great and the color and finish soft and lusterous. I like the void and knot!

BTW wheres the mule ?

David, the neighbor that raised that mule broke my heart and sold it.:( He was just like a big old dog, came and rubbed on me and begged for corn stalks from my garden. I hope someone is taking good care of him.

Curt, sorry to hear about the missing mule, we had a mule for 10 years or so and I felt the same way when Dad sold him
