Blum hinges

Hey guys. Any opinions on cabinet hinge selection. Gonna use Blum with Blumotion, but nor sure whether I would be better off with free swinging or self-close.

Any arguments in favor of or against either style would be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe that blumotion hinges only work with self closing hinges. Free swinging is what you use with touch latches.

All blum hardware is great. Really is preference. Customer usually specifies if its for you decide if the extra cost is worth it. Blumotion for hinges and slides is slick, pretty much a standard in the high end market now.

I've fallen in love with the Blumotion stuff and have even changed the way I build stuff to accommodate using them.
