Jet AFS 1000b filter question

I just bought on CL a Jet 1000b air filter. I came with a charcoal filter in place and the guy also gave me an electrostatic filter. When would I use one over the other? Thanks.

Hi Joe,

I have the same unit and believe that the charcoal filter is disposable, therefore if it’s already used, continue with it until its time to dispose of then use the electrostatic one which is cleanable. Typically the electrostatic collects better and I say this without knowing the nominal filter value of each.
