PC 18 gauge brad nailer problem

I am in the process of building a cabinet and this AM my PC brad nailer has malfunctioned. The pin that is responsible for hitting the head f the brad does not return to the neutral position so the next brad cannot load in to position. I tried taking as much of the nailer apart as possible and cleaning what I could however, problem persists. Any thoughts?

Sounds like something may be bent or needs an oil job. Did you add a few drops of oil to the air inlet? If you don't do that, it may bind up.

Thanks Bob. Nothing appeared to be bent. I oil it with each use. Took it back apart, replaced the O rings and it now seems to be working better.
