I have been playing with a friends Bonnie Klein threading jig. He recently bought a new cutter that is only 5/16" diameter so we can do smaller boxes. This box is African Blackwood. The ear plug is for size reference. It is pretty cool but I couldn't get my fat fingers inside to do a decent sanding. Finish is just EEE.

That's really neat, Terry. Nice work...and quite small, too!

That is very cool! I am in the midst of turning a lot of lidded boxes. I am really enjoying learning about the boxes. I do not do the threaded ones, but that is very interesting. Great job.

All the best.

Very nice little box Terry! Great form and finish! Really like the threaded lid! Would have never thought of threading something that small! Really cool!

Where did he get the small cutter? I had a guy asking me how small I could make the boxes. He pans for gold, and mostly the nuggets aren't very big. Might have to try that. The threaded boxes are selling fairly well for me.

Terry, That is wonderful! I like the little dude! When I first looked at it I thought it was a candle sitting next to it!

Very nice,

Jeff

Robo Hippy, I saw some where that a guy was making his own out of some tool steel or some small router bits that he ground to a 60 degree angle.

What Jeff said. Truly well done!! (fat fingers... huh! Skinny fingers couldn't get inside that one.)
