Some of you may remember my son, Ben, who is a turner. Anyway, he has entered a photography contest to win a college scholarship. [He's a freshman at Cornell, studying engineering.] Please take a look at his photo, and if you would like, you can vote for it. The site is:

Thanks to all.

We call that a firemission and I hit it.

I have a couple friends who are avid photographers and one who is a pro and that is a good pic from any of them.

All it needs is me with a 5 weight fly rod. :D

One great sunset shot deserves another. My son shot this of his flying club's Cessna 182 RG. It took a 3rd in a state contest for HS students.

Done! Really like the "father/son" comments - makes the pic even more special.

Thanks guys for all your votes and support.

Greg - he's in mechanical now, and looking to do a minor in aerospace.

I guess I can cut him some slack. I am a civil / structural engineer. Good luck with the photo.

What a fantastic site. I could spend hours going through looking at all those photographs. He got my vote.
