I am currently looking for a new contractor style tablesaw. I am looking at the Saw Stop and the Powermatic. I am familiar with the Powermatic as several of my buddies own that saw and really like it. I am hoping for some feed back from related to the sawstop saw. The good the bad and the ugly if there is any. TIA

There are quite a few threads on this already. I recommend reading them and posting any specific questions/concerns about it afterward. A general post like this could go anywhere...

I got a close up look at the Sawstop contractor saw at a recent woodworking show. Was very impressed with the quality of the saw. Fit an finish was exceptional. It's on my short list.

Aside from the safety feature of the Sawstop, which in itself is a great reason to own one, this contractor saw supposedly has great dust collection capabilities. It can be had with cast iron wings, or less expensive stamped metal wings.
