How do you get the sticky stiff off bandsaw blades after you cut green wood?

I got this from Woodcraft:

It came in a pack with T-9 and a de-rustifier. All three seem to work at their stated tasks.

You can spray oven cleaner on any kind of saw to emulsify resin buildup. Just wipe the blade off,rinse,and dry it good so it doesn't rust.

I just coil them up and let them sit overnight in a pan of water.
This works well except for pitch pine. Then I use diesel or kerosene.

Wipe it off then spray with wd-40

I just chuck a brass brush into a cordless drill and run it in the opposite direction of the moving bandsaw blade. Probably not the best thing for the blade, but with the abuse our bs blades take, a brass brush isn't much to worry about.

Thanks guys, I will remove it tomorrow and clean it up again. I cut a branch off an apricot tree, and had to see what it looked like inside. Beautiful wood.
