View Full Version : Adjustable Height for Miter Saw Station

I've been searching through threads, and I can't seem to find a picture I'm sure I saw a while back. One creeker had a miter saw station with an adjustable height platform for a miter saw. I'm sure he had a close-up of the adjusting mechanism. Can anyone help me find this (or show me how you do the same thing?)

Thanks!

Yo Chrud,

These corner bracket or U-bracket leg levelers work well for this application. Build say a 1x4 frame with these things in the corner, put a top on it and drill 4 holes to access the leveler. A jam nut will lock it.

Gets your miter saw level and exactly flush with extension tables or wings.

Paul,

Thanks! I was hung up looking for the homebuilt option that I didn't even think to look up hardware. I'm feeling a bit silly right now.

If you don't have a local source of these and don't want to wait for mail-order, you can use a Tee-nut and a matching bolt.

For really first rate feet, go to an appliance repair outfit and they have feet with large hard rubber pads that used on washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc.
