View Full Version : Looking for a threaded T-nut for a miter gauge slot

I recently purchased a used shaper with a sliding table. The slider does not have a fence of any type so I’d like to make my own using the T-slot which is in the sliding portion of the table. Does anyone know of a place to purchase a threaded T-nut for a miter slot?

The dimensions are pretty standard as my Delta miter gauge fits it perfectly. I know I’ve seen these before but can’t find them in any of my normal catalogs.

If anyone has descriptions, pictures, or drawings of something similar they’ve made please post them.

Thanks,
Wes

Something like one of these might work for you:

Tom, the Hartville and T-track USA have exactly what I was looking for. I guess I must have been googling T-nut and not T-track.

Thanks for the quick response. I've been looking for an excuse to order something from Hartville Tools so I guess now I have a reason.

I'd still like to see if anyone has a design they like as I'd like to build in a hold-down device with the fence.

Thanks,
Wes
