I'm looking for some simple, inexpensive barrister cabinet hardware. This is for some pretty small doors (3/4" x 11" x 22") so using ball bearing slide type flipper door hardware will be overkill. The cabinet will be either frame and panel hardwood or baltic birch. The cabinet will have 2 file drawers, a drop down door/desktop and 4 flip up/slide in doors.

I've found that Hettich and Hafele both make the hardware, but I haven't been able to find anybody that will sell me small quantities (any really).

Has anybody done this without hardware (routed slot, pin in door edge). Does anybody know of an available hardware solution?

Thanks

Everybody's idea of "cheap" is different, but here's a set that would probably work for smaller doors -
