I have a Grizzly G1029 2hp dust collector that has worked well. I believe it has the 30 micron bags on it. I can add a smaller micron bag but am tossing around the idea of adding a canister to it. Does anyone know if this is possible and, if so, where can I pick up a canister that fits? Thanks for any input.

It's definitely possible, and definitely has at least one fan! I upgraded the stock 30 mic bags to two Grizzly 0.5 mic bags, then upgraded those to a 1 mic JDS cannister with a plastic lower bag. The cannister has better air flow and the plastic bag is easier to empty than the cloth bags.

Scott, That looks like what I have in mind. Do you recall if there is a specific model number for the canister and where might they be available? Thanks for your input and the great picture of your dust collector.

David, thanks for the input. That would be my second choice.

It's been a while, but I think it's this one...it was on sale for a crazy price of $96 shipped.

Hey Scott - quickie question. How do you like the seperator? Do you also use a baffle inside like the one that Phil designed?
Thanks
