heres a couple of clocks i made last week while visiting my bro in Wenatchee Wa. i had never done any scrollsaw work before, but its kinda fun. the elk is purple heart with wipe on poly,3coats and the indian was an old walnut cabinet door we cut out and planed the finish off of ,then cut out . I put 5 coats of linseed oil on and hand rubbed each. That purpleheart is some hard stuff i tried to put the same detail on the base as the walnut but it kept tearing out that is the 5th base i finaly gave up and just did a 45 on the edge.

Nice work. Too tedious for me.

Thanx for looking.

I have to try the scroll saw at some point. Its sits at the lonely end of the work bench gathering dust ... or right now its all pollen down here.
