Is anyone having a problem using Google?

Everytime I click on a link, it sends me to an advisory page - this site could harm your computer - and it is under every link.

Is this a scam by Google or did they get hacked? Can't find anything on any of the News pages.

I just saw the same thing under the links. I didn't click any though.

Do you have another Browser you can try it with?
Mine gives the same results right now.

Same thing here . . . on Firefox 3.05. Wonder if it is some legal thing or part of a Google lobbying effort to become the infomation giant.

The news search on Google sorted by date has several articles about Google crashing.

For the time being use Ask.com or Microsoft search.

Two different MS machines, IE and FF all day, no problems. Do all the folks that got it subscribe to some Google service, like mail maybe?

Seems it was an error by a human at Google.

There was a tehcnical problem with Google for a period of time that caused false warnings (there are news articles about it) but it's been fixed.

Anytime I see that I pretty much ignore it. What with everybody claiming that my PC is infected and I need to download their "free" software to fix the problem , etc. etc. etc. - I'm a geek so I dont worry- if it crashes my PC big deal - my internet machine is just that - an internet machine. I plan on it crashing and getting BSOD once a week minimum. The day it quits for good, I'll toss it to the curb and dust off the next one. I've been waiting for a couple years already, darn thing just won't die. You can get a machine for surfing the web practically free these days.

If you did a Google search between 6:30 a.m. PST and 7:25 a.m. PST this morning, you likely saw that the message "This site may harm your computer" accompanied each and every search result. This was clearly an error, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to our users.

No wonder I didn't see the message. I was still sound asleep.
