This is the first time I have ever tried to turn a branch... In trying to find the right color for my customer's order... I thought this color might work instead of the walnut - I'll let you know, even though I already bought a Claro Walnut burl to fill the order, this might be better for them. This is also the second piece hollowed with my Monster - I LOVE IT!!!

Notice there is a bit of but in this wood, I really like how it came out. They wanted a flat finish:
4 1/4 inches in diameter by 6 1/4 inches tall
Oil sanded to 600 and cloth burnished bee's wax with 800 beartex - Scotch-Brite pad.

Nice form and pretty wood. Is there a shoulder or flat at the top? Seems to be a horizontal line near the top, but can not tell what it is.

I like it George! Pleasing form and you did a really nice job on a flat/low luster finish. If you are trying out different woods based on color - remember - you always have dyes to experiment with if the actual wood isn't that important to the customer.

There's some really interesting action in that wood, George. Nice form, too.
