601/2R rabbet plane use?

I've been wondering if this plane would be good at trimming tennons? or what it would be good for? Does anyone have one (and use it?)

Yes, I use mine exactly for that to clean the cheeks up.

You can use it on the shoulders, but it's not really well suited for that, but you can do it. Great plane.

Just about anything else you might use a low angle block plane to do.

I think I might try and get one to see how much I can do with it. I like the idea of a larger base to clean tennon cheeks with, and if it can work pretty good as a block plane...that would be a great bonus:D

any things a shoulder plane does are possible. Removing the inside corner on a rabbet after it leaves the table saw... this sort of thing
