Hello all,

I am looking into The Infinity carbide knives for my Dewalt 735. I would appreciate anyone with experience giving me a review.

Do they install like the HSS knives with no adjustment?

Are they holding their edge?

How many board feet do you have through your planer with the carbide knives?

Thanks,
Ed

I have some, but haven't worn out the original cutters yet. Yes, they install using the same index pins as the OEM blades. I can't say for sure how they'll last, but I expect the same great quality as my Infinity saw blades and router bits.

Thanks Jeff............the installation is my main concern. It was one of the main reasons I bought this planer. I hated setting up the knives on my old one.

Cheers,

Ed

I put a set in my planer before Christmas. And build a teak sofa table. And two vanity stands from teak they held up better than i expected. If i didn't like exotic wood so much they may out last the planer.
