I'd like to share a link of a video of David Marks and his shop/studio that I just watched. I've been a fan of Marks for some time and really enjoyed this video. His discussion of boiling wood reminded me of a thread here not long ago about this subject. Thought you might enjoy this and a look at his studio where he shows turnings from some of his friends and his own.

I haven't watched the David Marks video yet, but I met Marc from Wood Whisperer a couple of years back. My brother bought a PSI Cyclone dust collector off of Ebay from him and I drove over to Marc's house to pick it up. Nice guy and a great looking shop.

David Marks is one of those guys who is very easy to relate to. He explains things such that anyone can understand and yet is so creative you have to take a step back and just say "WOW"! Love watching his shows, videos, or anything else I can find! Thanks for posting this!

I enjoyed watching as well, I think his (david's) most dynamic thing is he shows woodworking can go beyond a chair and a table and bowls into using it as a medium for creating works of art.

While Norm is my inspiration for not being afraid to strive what the old masters did, David inspires me to try new things and to think beyond traditional.
