Hi All

I was at the woodworkers show in Chantilly Virginia yesterday. What a nice show. There was a lot of big iron, Jet, Delta, MinMax, Laguna, Wilkie, General. I am in the market for a bandsaw, though it may be a while before I actually part with cash to get a saw. Still I did look and compare.

For my purpose, prepping woodtruning blanks, the "special edition" Delta 14" looks to be the way to go. Riser block and 1 1/2 hp motor for $733

There were good crowds and a lot of "stuff" to so see.

Thanks

Richard

Was there Friday also. Except for the long line getting in, it was the least crowded I have seen in three years of going the the Timonium, Md and Chantilly shows. I could actually see the demos without standing on my tip toes. The the isles were nice and wide also. Not sure if this was because of fewer exhibitors or not. Some displays were smaller (Dewalt, Skarie, etc.). I only noticed a few absences.
