Hello everyone, hope your all having a great day. I was wondering if someone could redraw this logo for me or tell me the best way of going about it. I have tried in photoshop and Corel. I just can't get it work. This is for a school and it is the best they had.

Thanks Gene

Hi
You should be able to bring it into corel and do a trace. If it is not a bitmap then convert it to one and then do the trace. Is it in color or bw? I would be willing to give it a try for you if you want. I am not the best at doing this but would be fun to try.

Gene:
That looks like a manual trace job to me. The image is very poor quality. Surely they have something of better quality than this.

Gene I am sure that there would be a lot of people willing to try but you could at least give them a head start by posting a picture at least twice the size of a postage stamp.

Just a tip. When you redraw it manually, click on the picture and press the p button centering it in the page space. This way if you need to move the bitmap you can easily get back to the exact same spot you started with.

Well, I'm your sucker... Just had some time to play and did a manual trace for you. I hope it's okay. I saved it in Corel 10 just in case.

I had to guess on some of the claws... pretty poor image there.

cheers, dee

Whoever redraws it should only draw one side and then mirror it over to the other side. It looks like they were tyring to create a symmetrical design in the first place. And as Frank said, you've got to start with something bigger than this.

Cheers,
Doug

Dee thank you so much. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I' m having some medical issues and trying to run my business at the same time. I don't always get to thank the people I should. So thank you Dee and everyone here for all your knowledge and help.

Thanks, Ray. Amazing what a half hour and fast clicking can do to a crummy image, eh?
