Bushings question

Are bushing sizes standard or proprietary by manufacturer. For example, will a given mfr's slimline bushings work for all other "slimline" kits?

Michael...I've found there can be some differences even betweens sets of bushings from the same vendor. I use the bushings to get close and then use dial calipers to turn to the final diameter. I measure the actual components and write them measurements down. I then turn to those measurements.

Michael I have found difference between sellers pens. So I just made a decision to go with one or two.

Thanks for the responses -- I suspect some of my bushings are actually a little out of spec now anyway because of some, uh, aggressive sandpaper application.
