Got this today. check out the department title, Senate foreign payment panel
Sounds like one of our government departments, the difference is that our government actually gives money away to foreign country's.:eek:

The only way I could get rich off off these would be if I had a nickel for everyone I've been sent.

On a related note, A very good friend, who is not that gullible, actually forwarded one of these to his attorney to see if he should pursue it.

One time, i responded to one of these from a throwaway email address I set up just to deal with the sender, I had fun for weeks stringing this person along, that i was ALMOST ready to send money, and bank info. really was kind of fun.

I get at least two or three of these a week. Long lost dead relatives, royalty in exile, the UK lottery, etc etc. I lost track of how many millions they've wanted to give me. Wish it was real!

On the bright side, arent we glad that this isnt a significant US problem, where our citizens are scamming the world?

As soon as you see the word Nigeria, you know it's a scam. Hard to imagine people still falling for these but they do all the time.
