I finally got around to taking some pics of the other pens I turned as Christmas gifts this year. These are my first two Sierra pens (actually, the gold Ti one is a PSI "Gatsby", but is the same thing).

The Gold Ti Gatsby was made first using the African Rosewood I scored back a few months. I actually cut the blanks at 30 deg across the grain, but it still came out looking like straight grain. I made it with a high point in the center and I think it looks really nice. I gave this one to my wife (she's actually a "pen nut").
The Chrome Sierra was also SUPPOSED to be all AFR, but a check at one end exploded when I was rounding it off. Rather than scrap the blank and tube, I turned the remaining wood off down to the brass and with a sharp shoulder. I found a short section of another wood in my blank box (don't remember what it is--Zebra Wood, maybe?) and epoxied it onto the tube and finished it off with contrasting wood.
Any and all comments are welcome!
