Looking for a source of machanical clock movement for a mantel clock.
I have looked at Klockit. Any other place to look? Of course at a great price too.

If Bernie Weishapl doesn't reply to this thread...PM him. He has a business doing that on the side....repairing clocks that is.

Dave, I have built 4 grandfather clocks and one regulator. I researched the movements carefully and Klockit is by far the best value and quality. Like most things, you get what you pay for. If you spend the time and energy to create a nice cabinet, put a movement in it that will last a life time.

Check your yellow pages for clock repair places local to you. When I was looking for a clock movement I went to a repair shop, they had a lot of old and new movments. I was able to look at a differnt ones, how they mounted, and worked.
