Lumber Gloat

Just picked up 600 bf of birch at my favorite sawmill near Vancouver today and paid .....$100 (Canadian).

What a deal. Some of it is short (2-3 ft long) and most of it is fairly narrow (4 in) but at 16 cents a bf I can do a lot of edge gluing.

So not to magnify your gloat any more - but what is 16 cents CANADIAN worth these days anyway?

I can't get firewood that cheap, let along usable birch.
