Getting ready to glue a small section of veneer on to a 12" X 18 " piece . Top has a slight curve or rounded section . Do I need to use a special veneer glue or can I get by with Titebond.

As long as you can get everything laid up and pressed within ten minutes or so, TB will work fine. If you need more "open" time, white glue would be better. TB also makes a "slow" glue for veneer work

Titebond III will work well for flat and moderate curves. TB also makes a veneering glue called Cold Press that I use for vacuum veneering that works well.

I like the Coldpress glue I get from Joe Woodworker for veneer work because it's a little more forgiving time-wise while you're lining things up, etc.
