View Full Version : BlueLinx in Dallas is No More

I went over to BlueLinx today at lunch, and they are loading up shelves and shutting down. They wouldn't sell anything in less than a pallet load, and they didn't have much of anything to sell.

This is a sad day in DFW.

That is really too bad. They enjoyed an excellent reputation around town. :(

Yeah, I went by a couple weeks ago to get some Cherry, and they had a sign on the door saying they were no longer open for business. Their prices were considerably better than any others I've seen in the area, and the selection on the basics, particularily Walnut and Maple, was very good.

The only other place I know of near the midcities is in Grand Prairie off 360 just south of 183, but they are considerably more expensive (last time I checked)...

There is another supply store close by in "Hardwood Lumber of Dallas". I have found that the prices are fair and they can do glue up services and more. Check them at www.hicdallas.com (http://www.hicdallas.com)
