Here is a small 5"x3" osage orange bowl I just completed. Finished with a couple coats of antique oil but no buffing...yet. Been working on my scraper usage and glad to say I have been making progress. Nice wood to work with, the ribbons and chips really stand out against the mostly walnut and maple chips on the floor! Left a little bit of the sap wood on to show off the color variation. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Allen - nice job! Good looking wood! You did good on the transition between the steep wall and the bottom of the bowl. Usually that is where the problems lie when dealing with such a steep wall design. Looks like you have figured out how to use the scraper! Again - nice work!

looking good! to me 5X3 is an awkward size to deal with while 6X3 is a very good size.

Really nice to see all the pieces made from Osage. When I was a kid all we made were fence posts. Should have kept a few of those posts.
