Does anybody know of a source for some good free homemade grinder jig plans? I finally got my white grinder wheel installed on my grinder, reground my "utility" chisel {a 1" Stanley butt chisel of indeterminate (yet plastic) age, that led a hard life before I found it on the street} and started to grind the blade to my Veritas chisel plane, but don't have the angles available I'd like.

Ian Kirby's book, "Sharpening with Waterstones" has a homemade set up. It's basically a round steel rod, mounted at the center line height of the wheels. He shows a couple of wood blocks that hold chisels and plane blades. Once you see a picture, you can make your own.
